Greg - it's not that far of a ride (especially with my new boat). We regularly hit Satchel's - that weedbed just east of the two islands out in front of your place is our most consistent pike producing spot.
We travel up and down the river during our week's up there. We'll hit Keystone, Marsh Bay, Twighlight and Bob's. Closer to Lunge Lodge, we hit Hardy Bay, Sand Bay, Wright Island, Five Mile and the Lower French all the way to the Hall River.
Over the past ten years, the area is getting smaller!
My son and I always comment about your cabin. What a great location. The sunsets have to be great!
Greg - sorry to read about your motor; nothing ruins a trip like a broken outboard. Glad everyone is safe. We've taken refuge in the boathouse in front of the cabin by the mouth of Satchel's creek during a rainstorm. If that's your cabin, I hope it was OK for us to do that!
