Bob Collins made a pre-emptive visit to the Lodge this week and he’s scouting out new bass locations for the upcoming Pettry-Collins Bass tournament scheduled for Monday, September 5th. Last night, though, he was casting an orange Whopper Plopper and on his 4th cast, hooked and landed a 43” musky!
Jim Mariano, a member of the Virzi group, caught a 40” musky last week. His was also caught on a topwater lure.
The Burnham’s, a group of 5 from the Columbus, OH area are catching pike.
Ron Kaintz is back and had a great day, yesterday, boating over 20 walleye!
Chris Fenderbosh, the winner of a charity raffle, cashed in his free trip. For him and his friend Matt Mills, it was their first visit and the plan to be back.
Sherry and Andy Marshall and their 4 kids are on a Sunday to Sunday stay. They hail from Toronto.
John Christopher, from Pittsburgh, is in with a group of 4. Their largest fish so far is a 25 1/2” walleye.
Sean Flanagan is in with a group of 5 from the Spencer, OH area. They’ve been catching bass and pike.
Arriving Friday is the Petras/Albertinin group followed by Dave Novotny’s group for a return trip and Harvey Adams.
