As Tony mentioned in the prior post, my group of 4 recently returned from our annual trip to God's Country. It was a phenomenal trip as always. Things were a bit different without Mary in the Lodge, however it was a pleasure meeting Germaine and we certainly left a few pounds heavier than when we arrived!!! The food was great as always and the fishing was even better. I added an album which I assume folks can see?? If for some reason you cannot view the photos, please let me know and I'll find an alternate way to share them. Almost all of our fish came on either topwater baits (mostly Spooks), 3/4oz traps or #5 Mepps. Among the 4 of us, we landed 7 muskies, all between 39-45". We lost a couple others at the boat and had countless other sightings and follows, though we never did see a real "juggernaut". The smallie action was hot as always and we were able to land countless fish in the 4-5lb range, which is always a blast on any type of tackle. Already looking forward to next years trip!
Best of luck to Scott on a successful first year taking over the Lodge. Things seemed to run without a hitch while we were in camp so kudos to Scott, Mike and others who helped pull things together after ice out!
