The Lunge Lodge on the Upper French River

The last week of June has been a wet one, with pouring rain at times and people hemmed in their cabins or the Lodge.  A few brave ones are still getting out and having some success, though.

Jeannie Bernhardt was out with her husband Gary and caught a 47” musky trolling!  She was using a U-20 Flatfish in 35’ of water deep trolling with an added lead weight.

Mike Hammer, in from Toronto, caught a 40” musky, a few days into his stay.

Paul Brickman and his group from Cleveland have been targeting pike with some success.

The Therrian’s, a group of 7 from Toronto are fishing for musky without success so far, but did report catching a 22” walleye.

Joe Ondry and his son Eric arrived early in the week.  They hail from North Olmsted, OH.
