Bernie and his crew arrive today to assist Mike with a number of camp closing chores. Their talents, combined with Mike’s and Scott’s result in a very orderly and efficient process. Mike expects October 20th to be his last day on the grounds.
Meanwhile, guests have still been coming and going.
Mike Weber and his wife Carolyn were in for three days. Mike had been a regular for years and it was good to see him back, even if only for a short stay.
Mike Lee, Sean Lee, Paul Taylor, and Mike Hogan were among a group of 16 who were up from the Toronto/Barrie area. They targeted walleye for the most part, but Mike Hogan did catch a high 40’s musky of which he posted a picture here.
Scott Williams and Adam Minnick caught a 44” musky, they still have a couple days left to find a few more.
Joe Petras and his group of 8 from North Olmsted, OH are searching for musky as well. They’ve yet to hook any but have had some encounters, although sightings have slowed from the week prior when Mike and Scott reported raising 4 different muskies in one spot and Dan Harshbarger said they raised 9!
